Hospital newborn photography is one of my favorite newborn sessions. These sessions are so special because they are captured shortly after delivery. A large majority of my hospital newborn sessions are taken 24-48 hours after birth. This session welcoming Calvin Robert was just a mere eight hours after delivery and he is perfection! The detail shots are some of my favorite at every session. Some of the details captured in-hospital newborn sessions are the bassinet, and the hospital hat and blanket. Although the newborn is the main event, it’s important to get a few shots of mom and dad too. I tell new parents all the time it’s better to have a photo that you choose not to share with others than wish you had a photo that you cannot go back and recreate.

One of the things that makes this hospital newborn photography session so special to me is that Samantha is more than just a client. Samantha and I used to work together and I’m so honored that she allowed me to be a part of this special day! Cal has a precious big brother, Bo. I hope that I will be able to get some Wade family of four pictures in the not too far off future. A fun fact about The Wade’s is they share the same first name. I suppose legally they are a tic different, Samuel and Samantha. Sam and Sam are good humans! Both Bo and Cal are blessed to be a part of their growing family! You know that friend that is dependable with a strong work ethic but also at the same time super chill that’s Sam. Congratulations to The Wade family, Cal is wonderful!
